Mongolian Beef w/ Veggies and Noodles
Ingredients:
Water
Soy Sauce
Hoison Sauce
Garlic Powder
Garlic Salt
Onion Powder
Sesame Oil
Brown Sugar
Red Pepper
Cayenne Pepper (optional)
Corn Starch
Veggies:
Green Onions
Red Peppers
Shredded Carrots
Meat:
Preparation:
- Mix spices, sauces and water together except corn starch
- Chop vegetables and separate
- Cut skirt steak in to thin strips.
- Cover skirt steak strips in corn starch
- Dip skirt steak strips in sauce mix
- Heat pan.
- Add peanut oil
- Cook vegetables. Set aside.
- Increase heat on pan and add additional peanut oil
- Add meat to pan
- After about 5 mins add vegetables and leftover sauce.
- Cook to desired doneness (rare, medium, well done)
- Remove from heat after done cooking
- Boil water
- Add noodles after water comes to a boil
- Cook noodles
- Drain noodles
- Serve beef and vegetables over noodles
